Mom loved to eat out or indoors; she loved even more to treat her family to dinner in or out. Any excuse to get family together and to eat was even more excitement. The number didn't matter, she always seemed to find a way to make ends meet while spoiling the crowd. I have more than 40 years of memories of very special times dining out with mom at a wide range of unique venues and priceless memories of her working 2 jobs so can provide best dental care, new school supplies each year & so many other things for her children and OTHERS. She raised me totally on her own so I often spent my weekends and after school weekdays growing up working beside her. I'd help fill the salt/pepper/sugar shakers, wipe her tables, etc & get rewarded with a quarter or a silver half dollar at times.That money would be spent on a comic book 9x out of 10.The other 1x it would go toward shoes, whatever need was at time and into James awesome jukebox. Mom got a laugh♥ off it.♥She always had a huge love of all music genres.Country music was her new found favorite genre ♥though.It wasn't popular/well received yet but that didn't stop her ♥. I'd walk from James coffee shop up street to a store for times I wanted the comic book. I would always rush back to James because I didn't want to miss any comical action. Many dear friends we made at James.No matter where mom worked, she always magnetized people because of the person she was. Prayerfully some of those dear friends shall be able to visit here to share and light a candle in her honour. Finding this site was a total mom thing. I didn't even know they existed. I was searching online for a comforting grief coping scripture verse and stumbled onto this beautiful site.Mom hugs my heart tight everytime I go to the candles that loved ones can light in memorium here. PLEASE, make sure you check out the beautiful "thoughts & candles" before leaving. Bookmark it and come back when God makes time for you!! Mom ALWAYS put the needs of others ahead of her own. She never had extra money because of her sweet, giving heart and some criticized her for this. God didn't though. For every, single unselfish giving deed mom did...she's being rewarded tenfold now.
